View is northeast, Hudson Street to the right, with the 11th St. divider seen. A detail from the left of two posters (one from the Lyric Theatre and the other, Rialto Stock Players - The Creaking Vault commencing Monday, March 19th) date this image as 1928. Three boys stand nearby; open doors to a basement with a sign sticking up: 1101 [Washington St.] Mike Ice & Coal.
In the center of the block is the small shop of John F. Leddy, Plumbing, where the window display includes a pedestal sink and a toilet.
This photo is from an accession group that consists of photographs from Hoboken Police Department records. Discarded in the 1990s, the original documentary purpose of this photo is not stated or apparent.
