Photo taken by C.[Conrad] Magnus, 422 Washington St., Hoboken, N.J. (imprint in black in lower border.) Reverse blank except for contemporary penciled name (twice): Dr. Hoffman. A ship's officer for the line which had Hoboken as its American home port in this era. Magnus was at the 422 Washington Street address in the first decade of the twentieth century, but possibly earlier. Photo would not have been later than 1914.
