Photo 1: El Encanto, 254 (& 256) First St. (numbers on door at right to upper floors); clothing store for women, men and children; signage in spanish: Ropa para Damas, Caballeros & Ninas; window displays, open doors.
Photo 2: Glaser & Son, Inc., 218 First Street, furniture and appliances; hand lettered window signs in spanish; street number from 1969 telephone directory. Television, washing machine, stereo record players / radio consoles seen.

Photo 3: Check cashing store, 80 Hudson Place, Hoboken. While other services are advertised in the window, no name for the business is seen. Location determined by the reflections in the window of the " Public Service Buses " bus shed signage (see photo 2013.045.0008) that was across the street.

These photos are in a group of 23 in this accession which are the same size prints and apparently taken during the same period; none are dated, but automobile models and other elements seen in some images suggest the date range.
