The young woman, circa late teens, is not identified and is wearing a sailor's pinafore. She holds a rolled certificate in one hand and a bouquet in the other hand.
A typical photograph taken to commemorate a ceremony which in this case was probably school graduation.
The studio known as Commercial Photo was located by Hans in an 1918 city directory at 306 Washington St. A Charles Erna is known to have been at this address as a photographer in 1910 and whose studio name may have been Urna as well as Commercial Photo.
Saretzky has a listing for this firm in 1901 as 257 [this is likely incorrect for modern address numbers, probably no. 237] Washington St. (Photographer Adrian Van Kampen was known to have been located earlier at 306 Washington St.)
