Scope and ContentTicket: Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad, 12-Trip Weekly Commutation Ticket Between Dover and New York, August 4-9, 1958. Form L12. Printed card stock, 2-7/16" high x 4" wide; no edge perforations; inkstamp purchase validation on reverse. All rail passage to New York ended at Hoboken and required a ride on the railroad's ferries to complete or begin a trip; alternately passenger could travel on the Hudson & Manhattan Railroad. Ticket was also valid for passage between New York and Montclair or Peapack. Bought August 4th at Dover; male passenger, R.A. New. W.H. Dominick, Passenger Traffic Manager. [twelve trip]
