The young girl wears a white robe with fur collar and holds a large floral bouquet. She appears to be seated on a stool (with one leg to the floor) next to her mother.

The studio known as Commercial Photo was located by Hans in an 1918 city directory at 306 Washington St. A Charles Erna is known to have been at this address as a photographer in 1910 and whose studio name may have been Urna as well as Commercial Photo.
