Notes: Taxpayers' Assocation of Hoboken, N.J. Incorporated Meets Second Thursday of Each Month. AT ODD FELLOWS' HALL, 412-414 Washington St. Hoboken, N. J. January 16th, 1908 To the Honorable, Board of Water Commissioners, City of Hoboken, New Jersey. Gentlemen: - I have been instructed by the above Organization to write you in reference to the laying of the proposed new 30" Water Main. Sometime ago this matter was discussed very thoroughly by your Board and it was decided to go ahead with this much needed improvement. Real Estate Owners on River, Hudson, Bloomfield and Washington Streets, in particular, complain most bitterly that Tenants residing on the upper stories of their Flats have to go days without water supply. They do not quite understand the reasons for the delay in getting this improvement started and completed in a quick and satisfactory manner. The Taxpayers Association of Hoboken would appreciate hearing from your honorable body as to when the work of laying the proposed new 30" Water Main will be started. Thanking you in anticipation for this favor, and trusting that your Board will do something to hasten matters along, beg to remain Yours very truly, The Taxpayers Association of Hoboken, Per [signed] J.P.
