Notes: Building was a location of operations for John K. Benson who imported animals to Hoboken for circuses and zoos. He was also an associate and/or agent for the Hagenbeck Brothers Company, which was a long-established animal importer (previously known as Carl Hagenbeck, Hagenbeck & Co., Hagenbeck & Sons as well as associated with the Hagenbeck Circus; apparently Benson had some association with all these entities.) Source of this published photograph was apparently some publication or newsletter on circus history. Original or Copy: Reproduction Status: OK Status By: dw Status Date: 2014-04-10
