Color lithographed card, 3" high x 4-1/2" wide imprinted in black on reverse with advertising text. Card is not numbered. It is one of a series issued by the company (see archives 2010.007.0151 for eight others and an envelope that the company sent them in; discussion of dating is in that record.) It has promotional text on the reverse; includes slogans - "It's Positively Pure" and "Wholesome." Text on reverse: "Pigs is Pigs" but pastry isn't good pastry unless you use a good baking powder. For 41 year Davis Baking Powder has been POSITIVELY PURE and WHOLESOME. DAVIS BAKING POWDER A complete set of these recipe cards will be mailed upon request - R.B.
