DescriptionSepia-tone photos, two, of Florence Miller at the piano, Hoboken, no date, ca. 1898-1905. Both are 4" x 5" prints with holographic ink inscriptions on the reverse: Florence. The location is probably the parlor at the family home at 716 Bloomfield St., Hoboken. The camera viewpoint is approximately the same, but they were shot at different times: notice she has a different dress in each photo plus she is wearing a bow in her hair in photo 2. Notice also the differing decorative items on the mantle, piano and table with the lamp. These photos were taken at least weeks if not months apart. High resolution tiffs media archive.
