Note from Office of the City Clerk, Jersey City to J.H. [John Hillric] Bonn, President North Hudson Railway Co., re ordinance approving elevated line, Dec. 17, 1884. Bonn was a significant person in the development of Hudson County. The full and more correct name for the streetcar line was North Hudson County Railway Co. See notes for text. City of Hoboken document with file notations. It is not apparent as to why this document was part of Hoboken records.

Dear Sir, The Board of Alderman of Jersey City at its meeting held Dec. 9, 188, passed an ordinance authorizing the North Hudson Railway Co. to cross Palisade Ave. and New York Ave, Jersey City, with an elevated road at an elevation of fourteen (14) feet above the surface of the street.
