Print: 300 Washington. Screen print by Ricardo Roig, Hoboken, 2012. Limited edition screen stencil print by artist Ricardo Roig. No. 1/11. Title, limitation, signature of artist and date in pencil below image. White Stonehenge paper, ca. 12" wide x 18-1/4" high (irregular hand-torn edges imitating deckle); acrylic paint. Image is surrounded by a varying border of ca. 2-1/2" Depicts the apartment building with a ground floor produce and food market on the northwest corner of Washington and Third Streets. (This building suffered a disastrous fire in February 2012 and was subsequently condemned and demolished in March.) A print (checklist no. 8) from the edition was exhibited in: Hoboken in Print. Hand-cut Stencil Screen Prints by Ricardo Roig. Exhibition in the Hoboken Historical Museum, Upper Gallery, July 29 - September 9, 2012.
