Cream colored body with blue ring at eraser end; blue plastic insert for holding pencil (2-5/8" long; probably a golf style pencil). Printed logo of Gulf Oil with printed text in blue for the business name. Near eraser: Pat. Pending. Phone number for the garage: HOboken 3-1709. Typical use of this item would be for customers to sign a charge slip when using a Gulf Oil company issued gas [credit] card which were coming into common use in this period.
