Sign chart, Fire Alarm Stations, from a Hoboken Fire Department fire house, which one not determined, date produced probably March 1985. 24" high x 40" wide black-line photostatic copy mounted loosely on 3/8" thick plywood; black wood moulding frame, damaged and only partially present; 1/8" clear plexiglass cover mounted over paper with 8 perimeter screws. Soiled and partially darkened.
The sign is divided into 8 vertical columns with each column having 5 columns within it for
box number, location, 1st alarm, 2nd alarm, 3rd alarm. The alarm columns indicate the company assigned to respond as alarms are called.
The Fire Department Chief was James Houn, the chart was prepared by Dennis Heulbig, 3-85 which is believed to be March 1985. The images shown were taken with the chart behind the plexiglass. The occasional blurred letters are in the original print.
