Pencil: Safety Protects People / Quality Protects Jobs. Bethlehem (Steel). No date, circa 1970-1980. 7-1/2" long x 1/4" sextagonal wood with dark green paint; metal ferrule and eraser tip; no. 3 hardness black graphite. Two lines of lettering gilt-stamped on opposite sides.
From a building on the site of the former Bethlehem Steel Hoboken Shipyard; found late 1980's.
