A centennial history of this company provided water to Hoboken from the early 1880s onward. There is some detail of the initials decades of service regarding Hoboken as well as references to some the people involved such as architect Myles Tierney and engineer Charles E. Brush. The headquarters for the company was apparently in Hoboken for a brief time in its early history. There are also references to the Stevens family, Stevens Institute of Technology and the Hoboken Land and Improvement Company as well as the Hoboken and Weehawken Horse Car Company.
