Wood with printed plastic laminated to backing; glass thermometer with metal bulb cover. 2-1/16" wide x 8-1/2" high x 3/8" thick plus the height of the metal bulb cover. Maker's name at bottom: Corfmann Bros., Corona, N.Y. Note: phone number is HOboken3-7900. On another thermometer (objects 2009.021.0010) from this company which is very similar, but apparently made by a different company and at a different time (compare typeface, dimensions, no green border), the phone number is SWarthmore8-3400.
