Photograph
Sepia-tone photograph of Jagels & Bellis horse-drawn delivery wagon with driver, Fifteenth and Hudson (or Bloomfield) Streets, Hoboken, no date, circa 1895-1910.
6" x 8" wide print on 8" x 10" photographer's mount. Photograph taken by E. Hollander, Photographer, 738 East 6th St., New York (inkstamp on reverse.) Reverse has modern ink notation: 15th & Hudson St. Also faint pencil notation not legible.
Wagon no. 126 drawn by a two-horse team has a full load of gravel (while company was best known for coal, they were also dealers in sand and gravel.) Company logo and name on side.
While stated as Hudson St., it is more likely that this scene was near Bloomfield and 15th Streets.
