1: Sepia-tone real photo postcard, unused, 3-1/2" x 5-1/2", of Sanntrock posed in German photographer's studio (Louis Wüllner, Wennigsen; blind emboss on front), no date (note: no stamp block on postcard.) Modern pencil identification of her on back.
Born 1879. From her apparent age, this photo is from the late 1920s or early 1930s.
Wennigsen is a municipality in the district of Hanover, Germany; she was born in Hannover. She was apparently visiting relatives.

Posed outdoors on a lawn near a hotel or spa, her age appears similar to photo 1.

From a group of photographs in this accession related to the Sanntrock family which lived in Hoboken from the later part of the 19th century until the early 20th century. Consisting of images of first and second generation German immigrants, the group reflects their German heritage and culture in fashions and content (some photographs are from Germany, apparently of relatives.)
