Published by the Success Postal Card Co., Pub., New York. Stock number 1170. Calls for one-cent postage (increased in wartime to 2 cents in Nov. 1917.) This vessel never docked in Hoboken. It was the second of five ocean liners Statendam built for Holland America, but it never sailed for the line. Built in Belfast, it was requisitioned by the British government for war duty in 1917 and sank in war action in 1918 as the S.S. Justicia.
