Photo was taken by George Van of Newark. Reverse has photographer's ink stamp and negative or job number 63634-3. Nathan Marcus is third from the right and Mrs. Marcus is presumed to be at his left. The other people are unidentified, but several in the front row plus one other can be seen in the shop interior images 2002.242.0005 and 2002.242.0006. The store was at 106 Washington St. and went out of business ca. 1998. The shot was taken looking east from the entrance to the store. In the background, two Hudson St. buildings can be seen between two buildings on Washington St.
