Published by the Hoboken Historical Museum as one of a series of postcards related to an exhibition by the Museum at City Hall, that opened June 27, 1997: United Decorating Co., 1899-1997. "Decorations for All Occasions. 98 Years of Parades, Funerals, Grand Openings, & Masquerade Balls."
Photo appears in the published booklet of the same title. Text on reverse: "Schuetzen Corps procession up Washington St., Hoboken, June 1904, to the Fourth National Shooting Festival held at Union Hall, Schuetzen Park. The storefront of 325 Washington has been decorated by Robert Kirchgessner, founder of United Decorating Co., Hoboken. From the collection of George and Dolores Kirchgessner."
