Dolly's husband and Frank's father, Martin Sinatra (born Saverio Antonino Martino Sinatra), died January 24, 1969. He was buried at the Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City, California. Where this tribute is located is not indicated, but it may have been at Saint Louis Catholic Church which Dolly and Frank were active in establishing and funding its construction. This scene may have been a dedication or unveiling ceremony for the painting with bronze plaque (not legible in this image.)
