Side-stapled with cambric spine cover. Two examples, ticket number: 12369; 12370. Intended for use on long distance trains. Hoboken was the eastern rail terminus for the company's trains, both suburban and long-distance. The back cover has a system route map with major stations between New York / Hoboken and Chicago. Agent's stub and ticket coupons (six each) are hot wax style carbon sheets. Printed by Rand McNally. A.G. Oldenquist, General Passenger Traffic Manager. Back cover states "We're certain you will like this new type of ticket..." Note that the railroad name is hyphenated; the hyphen was dropped circa 1965. (The Erie and Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad merged in October 1960.)
