Owner apparently first traveled to U.S. on the S.S. Kronprinzessin Cecilie of the North German Lloyd Line (which she records as "Crown Prince Cecilia") The American home port for North German Lloyd was Hoboken at that time.
All holographic text is in Czech and untranslated. She continued to use this journal for trips in 1925, 1930, 1936 and 1948 (which included air travel on Pan American Airways).
Wallet: green faux alligator leather cloth (black detail), 4" wide x 6-1/8" high; two interior pockets. Front cover with gilt-stamped round logo of F. Missler, Bremen. (Missler was a travel and ticketing agency with many offices; they booked North German Lloyd as primary overseas transportation.)
Journal: inserted, 32-page booklet, 3-13-/16" x 5-11/16", with printed covers and graph paper blank leaves. Unpaginated (covers included in pagination here). Pages [3] to [18] only were used. Leaf with pp [29-30] has been excised.
Journal has a 1909 calender inside front cover; list of F. Missler offices and affiliates inside back cover. Front cover is in German. Back cover depicts the passenger steamship Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse as often seen on their publications or ticket wallets.
