Photograph
Black-and-white photo of Mamie O'Malley with 2 girls on Willow Terrace North, Hoboken, no date, ca. 1940-1945. 3" wide x 4" high print. Reverse has contemporary holographic ink inscription with identifications.
The exact address on Willow Terrace is not known. The view is looking east with buildings on Willow Avenue in the background. A flag is above the woman's head. Note the bunting between windows on the upper floor of the building on Willow Avenue and a streamer that runs across the street.
The inscription reads: Mamie O Malley | Margie Morley | pushing carrage | twin sitting on | chair.
Mamie O'Malley may be the mother of the twin. The "twin" is probably one of the O'Malley girls (either Mary Grace or Geraldine; they were not twins) seen in photo catalog 2001.119.0001. Maggie Morley who is pushing a baby carriage may be the sister of Virginia Morley who is also seen in the photo cited above.
In 2011, Mrs. Joan Cunning of Hoboken noted that Mrs. O'Malley was a resident of Willow Terrace North.
