A modern issue circa 1980s. Black-and-white photo of view looking northeast of a parade float going south on Washington Street approaching Tenth Street. It is just passing the Elks Lodge which is at 1005 Washington St. Photographer is unknown. Event would have been Armistice (later Veterans) Day, commemorating the end of World War I. Note the electrified sign on the Elks Club.
