Photographs were commissioned by the client, the construction company: HBE Hospital Building & Equipment Company, St. Louis, MO.
Negative number 2A: view northeast. Note the new bank building at the northeast corner of Fifth St. and Willow Avenue. This was the site of Stevens Hoboken Academy which was demolished in mid-1976.
Negative number 3A: view to east of the Clinton Street side of the hospital. The North (new) wing is still under construction. The old hospital has not been demolished.
Negative number 4A: view is similar to 3A with closer view of the back side of the old hospital seen.
Negative number 5A: Clinton Street side; view is southeast with Fourth Street at the left.
Negative no. 7A (6A was blank): view is southwest of the old hospital at Fourth St. and Willow Avenue with the the North (new) wing under construction behind it. One of Keuffel & Esser buildings at Third and Grand can be seen at the top.
