Archive
Signage panels for five wayfinding kiosks installed 2012 by Hoboken Historical Museum on Hoboken's southern waterfront as part of the Open River Program. Digital files only, as produced by designer (viewing images are small files; PDF on file in original size for the ten panels.) See photo catalog 2012.020.0001 for photos of typical installed panels.
The panels, circa 14" x 55", offer history about the southern waterfront. Located on the riverfront walkway just east of Frank Sinatra Drive and one each located at the intersection of Newark, First, Second, Third and Fourth Streets. The historical signs are on the south side of the double-sided kiosks, with a modern map of the Hoboken waterfront on the north side. Maps on both sides are customized for their locations with "You are Here" markings. (Only one map is imaged here as typical; it has one major error repeated on all: Weehawken Cove is identified as Hoboken Cove.)
