Color photographs, four, of guardhouse & main entry to former Maxwell House Coffee plant with demolition on site, Hoboken, 2004.
4" x 6" wide gloss prints. Photographs by Donald "Red" Barrett. Reverse of all are blank.
The view of all photos is from Frank Sinatra Drive looking north to northeast. The guardhouse (left) and main driveway into the plant site are seen with demolition nearing completion on buildings in the distance near Twelfth Street and Shipyard Lane, northeast corner of factory site (see photos 2013.057.0008 to .0010 for other views of the site during demolition of this area.)
In the far background is 2 Twelfth St., the South Independence, an apartment building between Shipyard Lane and Frank Sinatra Drive North.
Photo 1: note demolition at the right is still underway near Twelfth St; two copies.
Photo 2: same viewpoint further east showing the full amount of demolition remaining.
Photo 3: same view point a few days later and the building is now fully demolished.
