Photographer: Mel Kiernan, Hoboken. 1: view southwest which is a long view from Hoboken Terminal north to Third St. Includes view of the Pier D deck of the former Port Authority Piers. Marineview Plaza buildings and parking garages and other residential apartment buildings on west side of River Street are seen. Steneck Building. Bulkheads are under construction for the riverfront walkway. Note at right edge on the riverfront is the end of the built section of the riverfront walkway to the north of this area. Large open areas would become two office towers (SJP Properties) on site bounded by First, Second, River Streets and, later, Frank Sinatra Drive.
