NEW YORK BUREAU WATERFRONT BLAZE WRECKS HOBOKEN PIER HOBOKEN, N.J. -- Tons of water are poured into Pier 4 at Hoboken, as smoke and flames consume the 1,100 foot war supply depot. More than 600 fire fighters were casualties of the blaze which destroyed millions of dollars worth of war materials.
