Family Programs
Hoboken Historical Museum provides engaging programs for children and students. All are welcome to enjoy our popular Storytime programs at the Museum and the Fire Department Museum, or participate in our hands-on Arts & Crafts for Pre-K children in the walkway by the Museum’s entrance during fair weather. All children MUST be accompanied by an adult.
As weather and staffing issues may affect our programming without advance notice, we encourage visitors to call 201-656-2240 if you have questions about a particular date.
For families visiting our exhibits, we offer scavenger hunts to help the children engage with the artifacts displayed around the Museum, and books and t-shirts just for the little ones.
We offer age-appropriate programs for schools and other children’s organizations. Click on the menu at left to explore the types of curated programs available to local school and pre-school classes. Call 201-656-2240 for more information.
Or take advantage of our online materials to create your own activities and lesson plans. Click on the image at right to download coloring sheets created by our own Bill Curran, local artist and Museum Associate. Or visit our “Explore” section to learn more about Hoboken’s history.
