Art Exhibit Opening: “Hoboken Tempest: Paintings by Ray Guzman”

September 27, 2020 @ 12:00 am

Opening October 3, the Museum’s Upper Gallery space welcomes local artist and sign/branding entrepreneur, Ray Guzman, who creates art in a wide variety of media. All are invited to a free opening reception on Oct. 3 from 2 – 5 pm for his new show, “Hoboken Tempest,” focused on a single panoramic, 10-foot-wide painting of Hoboken with the New York skyline in the distance. For the opening reception, Guzman will be in attendance for a portion of the opening, with a few portraits he painted on loan for the opening.

The exhibition will remain on view through November 1. The exhibit may also be visited in person, as long as visitors wear masks and observe social distance. The Museum’s occupancy is limited under the current state guidelines.

Visit our “Exhibitions” page to read more about Guzman’s unique artwork, or visit his website at www.rayguzmanstudios.com.

The exhibit is supported by a block grant from the State/County Partnership program for the Arts, administered by the Hudson County Division of Cultural and Heritage Affairs.
