Get ready to design, drum, and donate in this high-energy, family-friendly workshop led by RhythmRise founders and Hoboken High School students, Lucas and Cameron Daly. RhythmRise was created to help make drum circles –– and its many social, emotional, cognitive, and physical benefits – more accessible for the joy of all students! In this special hour-long event, families will enjoy:

🎨 45 Minutes of Guided Drum-Making

Each participant will design and decorate their own hand drum using provided materials. Children will make one small drum to keep, while adults will make one medium-sized drum to donate.

🥁 15 Minutes of Drum Circle Fun

We’ll wrap up with a celebratory drum circle using your newly created instruments—led by the RhythmRise team, encouraging play, creativity, and connection.

🌟 Why We Drum Together

Drum circles foster a special sense of community. In participating in this workshop, we come together as one community in support of a neighboring community. RhythmRise currently partners with the Newark Public School District to provide drums for their K-12 classrooms. Each adult-made drum  created and donated will have immediate impact, and support RhythmRise’s mission to increase the accessibility of drum circles in schools where students face significant socioeconomic-related adversity. We are so excited that together we will help ensure more children gain access to this wonderful creative outlet!
