Changing Landscapes of Hoboken: Feasting, Conversation, Poetry
April 26 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
“My place is Hoboken…Where brass bands carrying statues fire cannons in honor of obscure Italian saints through the mid-day streets.”
Please join Dr. Mary Ann Miller & Dr. Lena Campagna from Caldwell University and Dr. Angela Siletti Murolo from St. Francis College as they host “Changing Landscapes of Hoboken: Feasting, Conversation, Poetry” at the Hoboken Historical Museum!
Featured readers include Hoboken Historical Museum Poet-in-Residence Danny Shot, poet James Ruggia, and short-fiction writer Paul Drexel.
These writers and members of the community will share their experiences about gentrification through the lens of Hoboken’s Italian street festivals in the Mile Square City.
