Join us online at YouTube or Facebook on Thursday, April 27 at 7pm for Hoboken Talks when Ed Stinson, famed football coach of Hoboken HS Redwings, talks with beloved guest host Stu Chirichella.
Ed was born and raised in Hoboken in the 50s. Sports provided a positive alternative to the tough streets. From his bio on the William Paterson University site: “A veteran of 34 seasons on the high school scene, Stinson guided Hoboken, the school he played for and graduated from in 1965, to six state championships in 22 seasons (1977-80, 1987-2004). Most impressive was his 224-61 record, good for a winning percentage of .786. This included a streak of 67 victories in 68 games that stretched from 1994-2000.”
