Hoboken Talks: Margo Singaliese, actor and teacher, interviewed by Bill Miller
March 29, 2022 @ 12:00 am
Join us at Hoboken Talks on Thursday, March 31st when Margo Singaliese is interviewed by guest host Bill Miller.
Margo Singaliese is a proud native Hobokenite. A product of the Hoboken School System, Margo was encouraged to pursue acting at a very young age by her dedicated and caring teachers. Prospering from their guidance, Margo not only did become a professional actor of stage, television (Sopranos, Law and Order), and film, (see her reel here) but also a Hoboken middle school teacher for 33 years. Hoboken held another angel for Margo in the form of the late great playwright, Louis LaRusso, who truly set her on her professional acting path.
Margo and her life partner, Jezabel Montero, are very appreciative of Hoboken’s residents for aiding the success of their former theater company, Kismet Theatre, located in Hoboken, where several of the local businesses would give donations of food, drink, and talent to her many fundraisers and theatrical events. The couple now own an independent film company and its first feature , “Cassanova was a Woman” written by Jezabel and starring them both, has been distributed by Gravitas Ventures and can be seen on Epix and Paramount+. To see Fuacata Films’s many projects, please go to www.fuacatafilms.com. Most recently, Margo has donned a new hat of producer for a short film by Jezabel Montero and Fuacata Films, based on the feature screenplay, “The Duke and Duchess of Queens” soon to be released. Margo is ever conscious of the uniqueness and the generosity of this small wonder called Hoboken.
