Hoboken Talks with Caroline Leavitt

Please join us virtually this Thursday, May 8 at 7pm when Caroline Leavitt sits down with her husband, Jeff Tamarkin, for our next episode of Hoboken Talks! This online program will be livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube.

Caroline Leavitt is the New York Times bestselling author of 13 novels, including Pictures of You and Days of Wonder. Praised by the Washington Post, the New York Times, Oprah Magazine, the New Yorker, the Boston Globe and more, she was Longlisted this year for the Joyce Carol Oates Literary Award, given to an author for their whole body of work. Caroline is also a New York Foundation of the Arts Fellow, a recipient of a Midatlantic Arts New Jersey State Council of the Arts award and a finalist in the Sundance Screenwriters Lab.

Her work has appeared in the New York Times “Modern Love” Column, New York magazine, The Daily Beast, and more. She’s reviewed books for the New York Times, the Boston Globe, The Washington Post, and currently reviews regularly for People. Caroline also teaches Story Structure for the Novel for UCLA Writers Program Extension, and does development editing for authors both privately and at Reedsy.com. She is the co-founder of A Mighty Blaze, a unique organization of over 30 passionate professionals, which started the day of Lockdown, connecting readers with writers with live interviews and special events.

She’s lived in Hoboken since 1990, is married to the writer/editor Jeff Tamarkin, and has an adult son who lives in Brooklyn.
