St. Ann’s Festival is back! And the Museum needs volunteers
July 14, 2021 @ 12:00 am
St. Ann’s is one of Hoboken’s oldest and most cherished traditions. The congregation of St. Ann’s Church, at 704 Jefferson St., hosts a festival to honor their patron saint with a multi-day street fair, tours of their beautiful church, and a special mass followed by a procession of the statue of St. Ann through the streets of Hoboken on her feast day, Sept. 26.
The Hoboken Museum is thrilled to participate in the festival every year with a booth at the corner of Seventh and Adams Streets. We could always use a few more volunteers to help staff the booth, selling our Hoboken-themed t-shirts, books, mugs and historic prints.
If you’re interested in volunteering, click on the button below to choose a 2.5-hour shift on any of the five days Thursday, Friday or Monday from 6:30 – 11 pm, and on Saturday or Sunday from 1 – 11 pm. You’re welcome to volunteer for multiple shifts, and please invite friends to sign up, too! Or send us an email to learn more: volunteer@hobokenmuseum.org.
