The Hoboken Historical Museum welcomes visitors six days a week, from Tuesday to Sunday, at 1301 Hudson St., Hoboken, NJ.
Museum Hours:
- Tuesday – Thursday: 2 PM – 7 PM
- Friday: 1 PM – 5 PM
- Saturday – Sunday: 12 PM – 5 PM
- Monday: Closed

Free admission is available for participants in the Families First Discovery Pass and Museums for All programs.
Getting Here
By Bus
By Bus (NJ Transit #126)
- From NYC’s Port Authority Bus Terminal (Gate 213) → Take #126 Bus to Hoboken
- Get off at 14th & Washington Streets → Walk east to Hudson St. and one block south to 1301 Hudson

By PATH
- Take the PATH train from NYC (33rd St. to Christopher St. stations) to Hoboken Terminal
- From there, take the #126 or #89 bus up Washington St. to 13th St., then walk one block east to the Museum
- Prefer to walk? Enjoy a 20-30 minute scenic walk along the Hoboken waterfront, historic Hudson Street, or vibrant Washington Street lined with shops and restaurants.

By Ferry
- Hoboken North Stop: Walk one block west along 14th St., then one block south to the Museum.
- Hoboken South Stop: Arrives at Hoboken Terminal—follow PATH directions above.

Parking
Free Parking:
- Littleman Parking – Independence Garage (Shipyard Lane at 12th St.)
- Up to 3 hours free with Museum validation (Enter the garage, notify the attendant that you are visiting the Museum, and bring the parking ticket to the Museum to be stamped)
Street Parking:
- Watch for street sweeping signs, fire hydrants, and red-painted curbs!
- Metered parking (9 AM – 9 PM, Monday – Saturday). Pay stations accept cash & credit cards.
- Sunday: Free metered parking.
- Residential areas: Visitors can park for up to 4 hours where permitted (look for green “residents-only” signs to avoid restricted zones).
