(Code suggests that it was from October 1931.) On both sides, the word "Plated" following "Gold" has been overprinted in solid black. Promotional leaf was for Bright Star flashlight model, "The Empire, One-Hand Set Spot (2 Cell Spotlight)." It was packaged in a printed sleeve with an elaborate printed die-cut display box that was removed from sleeve and folded out, it has a depiction of the Empire State Building.
