----
The hospital name was the wartime designation of Saint Mary Hospital on Willow Avenue between Third and Fourth Streets. Hoboken served as the main Port of Embarkation for the United States Army and the hospital became an Army controlled facility for the duration. When the war ended on Nov. 11, 1918, the Port of Embarkation became a Port of Debarkation which would have been its status in Feb. 1919.
