Holographic entries and signatures, inkstamps, revenue stamps; perforation '8' and plus 17 cancellation hole punches in two different diameters. Engraved vignette of the ferry boat Bergen. Signed by the President, Ronald Aldridge (among others) and embossed with the corporate seal. The corporate seal states the company was incorporated in 1888. The central image is a steam ferryboat ( not the same one as used in the engraved vignette.) Imprinted at right front edge: Issued for Property Purchased. Back has 4 Series of 1898 Documentary revenue stamps. Each has validation stamp of the United States Mortgage & Trust Co., April 28, 1899.
