DescriptionAdvertising eraser 'pencil' with an eraser on each end. Issued by the Keuffel & Esser Co., Morristown, N.J., no date, circa 1971-1975 [end date not definite.] Wood, metal, rubber or vinyl; 7-1/2" long. The pencil has printed text "Erasable Xerographic Vellum" and notes that "Works on Xerox machines 1860, 600, 1824, 3000, 3100, 3600, 4000." Based on the some dates that those machines were introduced, the date is not earlier than 1971. While this item was not issued by K&E in Hoboken, it is held as an example of their promotional work in the early years after they left Hoboken.
