Aluminum sheet with red decaled artwork, 2-3/4" high x 4-1/2" wide; holes at each corner for mounting. The scale of this item suggests it was for mounting on large equipment, not a smaller instrument case. This item belonged to Werner Hauschild who was employed as a K&E engineer working on transits and theodolites for circa 30 years starting about 1954. K&E main offices and factory were in Hoboken during most of the period when this was item was likely manufactured. Dating is not definite.
