Notes: John Axtmann (born Baden, Germany 1830? - died 1893?) had a bar at 161 & 163 Newark Street in Hoboken (those are believed to be new numbers rather than old ones.) Apparently his wife Mary (born Baden 1830) carried on the business after his death until 1895 when it closed.
