Napkins, set of twelve, embroidered "Meyers Hotel, Hoboken, N.J., J.H. Timken" No date, circa 1900-1920. White patterned damask, 22" square.
Name is centered. J.H. Timken was John Henry Timken, founder and proprietor of the hotel and who operated it with his family until World War I or just after it.
Hotel name is found as Meyers as seen here and sometimes as Meyer's with the apostrophe.
