Marks at neck: Sterling; hallmark and mark "A" of manufacturer (possibly Alvin.) The engraving is a depiction of the Main Building on Fifth between Hudson and River Streets. Later known as the 'A' or Administration Building and now as Edwin A. Stevens Hall. While undated, the college would have celebrated a 25th anniversary in 1895 and 35th in 1905 suggesting a date range for its issue. Other dates are possible.
