DescriptionTote bag with Lipton [Tea] logo silkscreened on it. (Hoboken), no date, circa 1962 (see below.) Sewn bleached cotton canvas, 16" high x 18" wide, no gusset; white 1-1/4" wide web strap handles. Item has been used and washed with some fading of the printing. Only one side has the logotype imprinted in red in a repeating pattern. This bag belong to a former Lipton Tea employee, the late Olga Richert, who worked at the Hoboken facility from 1949 until it left Hoboken for Englewood Cliffs and other locations in 1962. According to her nephew, Charles Bogert, his aunt stated that she was given this bag in 1962 near the end of her employment.
